MEDICAL SENSORS, a subdivision of US Nuclear Corp, designs and manufactures radiation detection and monitoring equipment for the medical industry. Once the atomic age moved beyond warfare and energy the uses of nuclear / radioactive materials expanded into the commercial and private sector.

The medical industry was the first commercial industry to realize the benefit of using radioactive materials. The discovery of radiation and radioactivity altered the medical industry profoundly. These revolutionary discoveries ushered in the radiation based medical diagnosis and treatment we know today.

The need for detection and monitors to ensure the health and safety of patients and medical staff in utilizing this technology is critical. This need created new industries of Health Physics and Medical Physics.

For many years this need for detection and monitors has been addressed first by Technical Associates, a division of US Nuclear Corp, and now by US Medical Sensors, a subdivision of US Nuclear Corp. With the ever-growing use of nuclear technology in the medical field, US Medical Sensors provides equipment that meets the task of health and safety. Invention and design of new equipment based on need is a key element of US Medical Sensors.
